I think various providers can be used for various purposes.
That is the key.
I have several shared accounts with hostingsource.com. So far they work fast and I'm satisfied.

For me Uptime and Speed, Support and Price are very important factors when choosing a right web host. Would also prefer a cpanel host.

My website is up and running and I love it! I like Hostnamaste.com Cheap Shared Hosting (https://www.hostnamaste.com/linux-plesk-shared-hosting.php) and their list of extra software installations is huge and their Site Studio is really easy to use. Recommended.

Try to search for other cheap web hosting packages that offer the applications needed for the web site.

Give exmasters.com a try. My site is almost always up (15 minutes downtime last month - up for about 99.8% of the time).
They still have very cheap pricing and I like it. They pass on great savings to me.

I've always been frustrated by hosting in the past. Not with hostforweb.com shared hosting (https://www.hostforweb.com/packages/index.html). Uptime and support have been excellent - they actually answer their emails, and within a few minutes! Cant quibble about the price either. Basic plan limits recently increased.
