VPS server - OpenVZ Vs Xen?
« on: September 26, 2016, 07:43:44 PM »

Currently i've Open VZ VPS with following spec using cpannel

Ram: 5gb
Processors: 6 core
Hard 150Gb
Monthly traffic 2000 Gb

But i've been experiencing really slow response time and website loading time. I'm using Wordpress and sometimes the website take ages ages to load and save for the Admin. Therefore i've requested to the host to change the package to KVM using cPannel and they've offered me server with following specs

Ram: 1.5GB
Processors: 4 cores
Hard: 60GB
Monthly traffic: 1500 Gb

I dont really need that much of traffic and hard drive so from data perspective this is fine, but i'm not quite sure if this is really a downgrade or an upgrade.

Please suggest should i move to the new proposed offer.

Please check your wordpress third party plugins which might be reason for your website slow issue.

Cloud platform does have anything to do with slow issue of server unless the cloud setup is good.

You can try checking with TRIJIT Cloud VPS Hosting which comes with cost effective, best-ever service backed with Legendary Support. They will check you website and will tell you what exactly the reason for your website slow issue.

Hope this helps you!

I dont think OpenVz of this specs able to handle phpfox load. My company is providing KVM based vps , even 1gb dedicated ram, 2 CPU cores . Your VPS gets overloaded, with OpenVZ, VM are highly shared. Thank You
