Shared hosting or simply refer to as web hosting is a type of hosting (https://www.hostneverdie.com) that a physical server is shared between a number of customers to host their websites (typically hundreds or thousands depending on the specification of the server).

Dedicated hosting is basically a renting of a dedicated servers. It is mostly used for hosting a website with high traffic. VPS hosting is quite similar to dedicated servers but it is a virtual servers resulting from dividing a physical servers in to multiple VPS. Thus, a VPS is much cheaper than a dedicated server.

Shared hosting means sharing a server – and its resources – with other sites. That's bandwidth, storage… the lot.

Vps Hosting creates a virtual environment that imitates a dedicated server (where you get a server, and all its resources, to yourself), but within a shared hosting environment.
