Hosting for a personal journal?
« on: September 29, 2026, 02:26:41 PM »
I want to start an online journal and need shared hosting for it. hostpro.com keeps coming up - is it a decent choice? Daily backups and DDoS protection are important to me.

Plans from hostingsource.com are worth your attention. Very kind, easy to work with, and exceptional service and value.
It provides excellent uptime and high performance at a decent price.

Just settle for a reliable host that charges a reasonably high rate and offers good service:
1) Ayksolutions.com
2) Hostpresto.com
3) Ultahost.com
We are completely satisfied being hosted. They fulfill all your requirements to sell online.

HostPro is a good choice for a small journal. They offer daily backups and security. This is very helpful for a long-term website.
Before you sign up, check how they save and fix backups. It is also good to check other companies. I looked at https://helloserver.tech to compare prices and features.

For anyone searching for a VPS provider, HostPro is another name worth checking. Their servers use KVM virtualization and NVMe storage, with locations in Warsaw, Amsterdam, and Tampa. They include daily backups with 30-day retention and support both full-server and granular restoration. Technical support is available 24/7 if you run into any issues.

For a personal journal, basic shared hosting should be enough because it usually has low traffic and does not need many resources.

Just check that daily backups and DDoS protection are included in the hosting plan. Some providers offer them only as paid add-ons or in higher plans.

Have a look at package plans from time-tested companies: scalahosting.com and planethoster.com.
I had a good experience with the mentioned companies. The person I dealt with resolved my issue, with a quick response in a useful and efficient way.
I was taken a good care of in a peaceful, professional way.

I’d also consider Fresh Roasted Hosting for an online journal. They offer shared hosting with daily backups, DDoS protection, and responsive human support, which fits your requirements well.
