Hosting for a small OpenCart store
« on: October 16, 2026, 10:42:46 AM »
I'm setting up a small store on OpenCart and looking for shared hosting. Is hostpro.com a solid choice? Daily backups and DDoS protection are important

I'd draw your attention to deals from time-tested companies: operavps.com and inet.ws.
I couldn't be happier with them as I write this. I highly recommend them, absolutely fabulous.
They are trustworthy for what you need. They are great hosts for any type of sites.

Choosing a server provider is about more than raw performance; flexibility and recovery options matter too. HostPro offers KVM virtualization, NVMe storage, and server locations in Warsaw, Amsterdam, and Tampa. Their resources can be scaled as a project grows, backups are retained for 30 days, and technical support is available at any hour.

For a small OpenCart store, shared hosting should be fine to start with. I’d check that daily backups can be restored easily, SSL is included, and DDoS protection is actually covered by the plan. Also, make sure the hosting meets your OpenCart version’s PHP and database requirements. If your traffic grows, you can always move to a VPS later. It’s worth comparing a few providers, including HelloServers VPS hosting, before making a decision.
