What US Linux web hosts can you recommend me to visit?
Have found downtownhost.com and they offer Linux hosting packages.
Do you know anything about this web host? Any discounts?

I was recommended to go to 4Goodhosting.com by someone, who had been hosting with a company I was with. He told me they had actual 24/7 live support. I personally experience the fast and reliable servers they had. They answered all my questions fast within few minutes often with full solution. Pricing is reasonable. So far, everything is great. If I were you, I will definitely contact them today.
