Comparing deals from a2hosting.com (https://www.a2hosting.com/vps-hosting/managed) and hostingsource.com (https://www.hostingsource.com/services/cart.php?a=add&pid=2%20&promocode=50%Discount) are suitable for me and I am in two minds which way is better to follow? What do you think?

As for their network and server uptime they are really great cos my sites were experiencing downtime only over 10-20 minutes. I have been using their service for 8 months - everything works good.
