Title: Storage Node vs Object Storage – Which Would You Choose?
Post by: Ferolli on June 18, 2026, 05:50:12 AM
GTHost.com recently launched a Storage Node platform offering storage access through SMB, FTP, SFTP, and rsync. Unlike object storage services, it provides a more traditional file-storage approach and starts at $10/month for 1 TB. It appears aimed at users storing backups, logs, mail archives, and release packages. Which approach do you prefer for long-term storage: file-based storage nodes or object storage platforms?

It seems to me plans from hostingsource.com and planethoster.com are worth trying due to their unmatched services.
They do what they say and say what they do.
A magnificent quality-price ratio.
The performance of the infrastructure, even being far away, is perfect.
