Title: Hosting recommendations for a simple landing page

I'm helping a colleague find hosting for a simple landing page. I'm considering hostpro.com (http://hostpro.com) - is it a decent host, and would it be suitable for a small site like this? Daily backups and DDoS protection are important requirements.
