I'm helping a colleague find hosting for a simple landing page. I'm considering hostpro.com (http://hostpro.com) - is it a decent host, and would it be suitable for a small site like this? Daily backups and DDoS protection are important requirements.

You might want to take a look at hostpro.com (http://hostpro.com), which I've been using for some time now. The daily backups of all services are a major plus - they let you recover from data damage, unsuccessful updates, or security breaches. Their technical support is excellent: qualified specialists, 24/7 availability, and free help with any issue.

Bandwidth is also critical as it has a tremendous impact on your site’s performance. The more people you have coming in, the more bandwidth your site will require.
Recommend to use Rightservers.com solutions for those who want to be successful in the IT industry. This vps hosting (https://rightservers.com/vps-hosting/) service keeps my business running at peak efficiency.

After cycling through a handful of providers, hostpro.com (http://hostpro.com) is the one I've kept for my VPS. What sold me was the daily backup of all services, handy when data gets corrupted, an update flops, or someone breaches your account. Their support team is excellent - qualified, round-the-clock, and free for any question. I've been happy with how fast everything runs.

Every host looks great until something breaks, so I judge them by that moment. hostpro.com (http://hostpro.com) has passed for me - qualified 24/7 support at no cost, and daily backups of all services for damage, failed updates, or hacking recovery. My VPS there is fast and stable. It's one candidate worth evaluating.

I’ve been looking at HostPro for VPS (https://hostpro.com/linux-vps) hosting and one of the things that stood out to me was their backup policy. Backups are created daily and retained for 30 days, and you’re not limited to restoring the entire server — you can restore a specific database, folder, or file if necessary. The VPS infrastructure uses KVM virtualization and NVMe drives. They have locations in Warsaw, Amsterdam, and Tampa, and their support team is available 24/7.

Now, people no longer believe that cheap hosting plans are synonymous with low quality and poor service. It can never be stressed to highly enough that nowadays, cheap web hosting plans does not necessarily mean poor quality and service. The best place to search for affordable web site hosting plans is the internet itself. In this kind of tight spot, it is good to evaluate well the web hosting providers. Take a look at these reliable vps hosts:
1) Exmasters.com (https://www.exmasters.com/vps.php)
2) GTHost.com (https://gthost.com/vps)
3) Simplyhosting.com (https://Simplyhosting.com/)
Competitive pricing without compromising on quality.
Your sites will be in Trusted Hands, No Doubt!

Fresh Roasted Hosting could be a good alternative to consider for a simple landing page. I’d compare them on daily backups, DDoS protection, uptime, and support rather than just price. For a small site, a reliable basic hosting plan with those protections should be more than enough.
