Simple hosting for a docs site?
« on: September 16, 2026, 03:00:21 AM »
Looking for shared hosting for a lightweight documentation site I'm putting together. Is hostpro.com a solid pick? I need daily backups and DDoS protection to be part of it.

Could you share more details about your requirements? Things like budget, preferred location (EU, US, UK, etc.), and the type of workload would really help narrow down good options.
The transition to green hosting was seamless, and I didn’t have to compromise on features like scalability or security.
Believe Hostpresto.com UK hosting service will work. Try for £1.00 - they are offering 1 month trial now. 100% Renewable Energy.
Network uptime is fantastic and the ability to upgrade and downgrade is a plus. Good luck!

What finally ended my host-hopping was finding one with real backups and real support. hostpro.com runs my VPS and it's been quick. Daily backups of all services cover damage, failed updates, and hacking attempts. Support is qualified, works around the clock, and answers for free.

I think HostPro should be fine for a small docs site. Just check the shared plan details for daily backups and DDoS protection before signing up. For a lightweight site, you probably don’t need anything too powerful.

For a lightweight docs site, shared hosting should be more than enough. I’d mainly check how the daily backups are stored and how easy it is to restore them if something goes wrong. DDoS protection is also worth having, especially if the site will be public.
HostPro looks like it covers those basics, but I’d double-check the exact plan details before choosing it.

For a lightweight documentation site, I’d also check out Fresh Roasted Hosting. They offer reliable hosting with daily backups and DDoS protection, plus their human support is a nice bonus if you ever need help.

Working with various hosting companies made clear that daily recovery options and always-available help are as important as raw performance, and hostpro.com supplies both. The VPS servers I use there keep applications responsive under continuous load and the network connection feels solid. Automatic daily backups of all services have enabled clean restores after both human error and external incidents. Technical staff operate 24/7 and provide free guidance that resolves issues efficiently.
