In our experience, the quality of support often matters more than the speed of the first reply. A response within a few minutes is great, but it's even more important that the issue is understood and resolved without a long back-and-forth process.
When evaluating a VPS or dedicated server provider, I'd also pay attention to uptime history, network stability, backup options, and how they communicate during outages or maintenance events.
