What is the best VPS for personal VPN?
Rarecloud.io is in my mind and I wonder if they are the best in this way?

hostpro.com provides a VPS setup that feels reliable in day-to-day operation. NVMe storage keeps things responsive even when load increases. Daily backups with a 30-day retention window make recovery simple and flexible. Multiple server locations help improve latency for different regions. 24/7 support ensures issues don’t stay unresolved for long.

About Rarecloud, it looks good on paper, but feedback is pretty mixed. Some users report good performance, while others mention downtime and weak support  . Even on Reddit, people say things like “nodes are oversold” and support can be poor  . So I wouldn’t rely on it for anything critical. If you want something more consistent, I’ve had a better overall experience with Fresh Roasted Hosting VPS nothing fancy, but stable and easy to work with, which is really what you want for a personal VPN setup.

hostpro.com VPS feels quite stable even under moderate нагрузка. NVMe storage gives fast response times, especially noticeable with databases. Daily backups stored for 30 days make recovery simple, even for individual files. Having locations like Amsterdam and Warsaw helps reduce latency for EU traffic. 24/7 support responds quickly and actually helps with real issues.
